How to withdraw
- From your secure link. Open the StatementIQ link you were sent (the same one you used to connect your bank) and choose “Withdraw my consent”. This takes effect immediately.
- Through your bank.You can also stop the data sharing from your bank’s own app or internet banking, under its data-sharing / Consumer Data Right settings.
- By contacting us. Email privacy@statementiq.com.aufrom the email address the request was made for, and we’ll action it promptly.
What happens when you withdraw
- We stop collecting your CDR data immediately.
- We delete the report and derived data we hold about you.
- Your CDR data-sharing arrangement is deleted with our accredited provider (Fiskil).
- The firm helping you is notified, and may contact you about other options.
- A minimal audit record (that a request existed and was withdrawn) is retained, as required for compliance — it contains no bank data.
Consequences
Withdrawing consent means StatementIQ can no longer prepare or update your income and expense summary, which may affect the service the firm you nominated can provide. There is no fee or penalty for withdrawing.
